The infamous sign that I have driven past about a thousand times on the way to Saskatoon from Stettler now has a special place in my heart. After spending last weekend in Biggar with Jennifer and Jason, Shawna and I both beleive that it is the perfect slogan for this small town in Saskatchewan.

The happy couple, Jennifer and Jason, their bridal party, their families, and the wedding guests all made us feel as if we were part of the community. With John Deere inspired wedding decor, a trio of Dodge pick up trucks as wedding vehicles and panoramic views of the prairies .... it truly felt like a bit of a homecoming for me!
We promised Jennifer and Jason a sneak peak at some of the cazillion photos that we snapped over the weekend ... so here are a few ... with many more to come! Thank you Jennifer and Jason for letting us capture your big day!

Jennifer was the most beautiful bride ... from the green lace up, the custom painted shoes to the angel inspired pin on her dress, her zest for life and magnetic personality ensured that all eyes were on her that day!

So while I spent time with the girls ... Shawna was hanging out with the boys. Jason was all suited up and ready to go but some of his groomsmen (we won't mention any names) required a few wardrobe suggestions from the multi-talented Mrs.Benson. No on can fix a tie or straighten suspenders ike her! Good work Shawna ... they cleaned up really well and were looking very debonair at the church indeed!
The location that Jennifer and Jason chose for their photos was incredible ...an old stone house perched up high overlooking the snow covered bluffs and hills.

While the site was beautiful it was certainly not very accessible so Shawna and I ditched the car and hopped in with Jennifer's brothers who very graciously drove us from site to site (4 X 4 in lock) and showed us how to 'burn rubber' on the Saskatchewan asphalt! Thank you Steven and Mark for getting us back to the reception in one piece!

Shawna and I were a little worried about the snow but cleary we underestimated the preparedness of good ole' Saskatchewan girls and their Sorels!
Just a few more shots of the bride .. couldn't help myself!

And the happy couple!!

Thanks Ladies for making it out to take part in our special day. We had a blast with you guys and I am very happy you could make it. My Sister-inlaw called this afternoon to say you guys had put up pics, so we had to have a look. You guys did a wonderful job and we had such a good time I would almost do it all over again, well actually the pictures I would do again as we all had so much fun, from the unsightly scene of an unknown bridemaids bare bum, to Shauna down in the snow up to her ears. We had a great time and can't Thank you enough for making it that way. Looking forward to the pics and loved what you have so far. Thanks again
