There are times in one's life when the awkward teenage years create some opportunities for you. This wedding just so happenend to do that for me! Ashley and I are both 4-Hers....past 4-Hers...and met on numerous occasions at 4-H camp in our teens. We lost touch over the years, but through the wonders of facebook, had reconnected just around the time that I was getting maried! She asked if we could do the photos at her wedding and I was honored to do it!

In my mind, there are two wedding dances that are a 'must caputure' ... even more so than the bride and groom 'cutting a rug' after a bit of bubbly, with all the wedding stress behind them. Those two dances are the first dance as husband and wife and the father dancing with his daughter - a new union and a little bit of letting go ...

The infamous sign that I have driven past about a thousand times on the way to Saskatoon from Stettler now has a special place in my heart. After spending last weekend in Biggar with Jennifer and Jason, Shawna and I both beleive that it is the perfect slogan for this small town in Saskatchewan.
